The Otoe County Veterans Transportation System operates as a branch of the Disabled American Veterans Transportation Network, covering all of Otoe County, Nebraska. Transportation is provided for veterans to medical appointments located at VA medical facilities or VA authorized community medical facilities. DAV vans are stationed in Nebraska City and our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advance scheduling for appointments is needed, as our drivers are volunteers.

Our goal is to stop DUI'S when and where we can. We will be providing FREE rides from your house to the local bars in Nebraska City and back home for the ones that choose not to drink and drive. You have no excuse to drink and drive on a Friday or Saturday 8pm-2am nights in Nebraska City when we will be more than happy to come get you and your friends to provide the safe ride.
